Perdana Botanical Garden
The 225-acre park was the brainchild of the British State Treasurer of Selangor in 1888. Within the park itself there is the Hibiscus Garden, Orchid Garden, Bird Park and Butterfly Park. Great for picnics, evening strolls and morning jogs.
Taman Tugu
Just opposite the Perdana Botanical Garden, this 66-acre park boasts over 5 kilometers of well-marked trails. Dense with trees that have been marked for preservation, this is a favourite spot for locals to hike on the weekends.
Bukit Nanas
Translating to “Pineapple Hill”, this forest was gazetted to protect its ecosystem and serve as a green lung for the growing city. With jungle trails, a visitors’ centre and a forestry museum, it is home to the only virgin tropical rain forest left in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
VTOC Urban Farm
Established in 2016 at the YWCA KL just opposite the PNB 118 building, this urban farm serves as a space for vocational culinary students to grow and learn about local plants and urban agriculture. Open by appointment for group visits.

Batu Caves
